You are cordially invited to the Cockfosters Cricket Club Awards Night, to be held at the club on Friday 25th October. Doors open at 7pm, so make sure to arrive on time to enjoy the festivities! 

The awards to be given out include Batsman, Bowler, and Captain's Player of the Year for the 1st, 2nd, and Sunday XI Teams. We will also be honoring the Young Player of the Year, Club Player of the Year, and Club Person of the Year. 

Expect a night of laughter, camaraderie, and friendly competition as we celebrate the achievements of our players.  

The Batsman of the Year awards may go to the players who have hit the most sixes, or alternatively, the ones who have broken the most windows.  

The Bowler of the Year awards usually go to the players who have taken the most wickets, but this year , it could be heading to the players who have bowled the most wides. 

The Captain's Player of the Year awards will go to the players they believe have shown the most dedication, commitment, and team spirit, or alternatively, the player who has brought the best post-match Jugs. 

The Young Player of the Year award will go to the most promising up-and-coming player, or alternatively, the player who has managed to stay awake during the Captains team talks.

The Club Player of the Year award will go to the player who has performed the best overall this season, showing exceptional skill and dedication both on and off the field. 

Last but not least, the Club Person of the Year award will go to the individual who has gone above and beyond in their contributions to the club, or alternatively, the person who has managed to avoid doing the washing up the most times.
